KENET is pleased to invite ODeL teams/faculty and Moodle LMS system administrators to participate in a five (5)-day, hands-on training to be held at the KENET training room located at its headquarters offices at the University of Nairobi. The training will cover key areas including Moodle upgrades, optimization, security, Linux fundamentals, backup procedures, and multimedia content design for effective e-learning delivery. The program is designed to build practical technical skills and provide a collaborative environment where participants can network, share experiences, and learn from one another.
The training will be held from January 19th-January 23rd, 2026.
Contents
Objective
Upon completion of this training, you will have acquired practical knowledge on multimedia design principles and Moodle 5.x administration.
Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for ODEL teams as well as ICT staff supporting the operation of eLearning using Moodle software.
Prerequisites
1.Laptop for the sessions with Wi-Fi capability 2.Participants are also required to have a soft copy of a course module that will be used during the hands-on session and that can be converted into interactive formats and uploaded onto the LMS.
