This will be an intense five (5) day hands-on workshop that will focus on the skills required to effectively manage a diverse campus network and NOC operations,and includes topics that are important not only from a theoretical perspective but also have a tremendous practical utility. The training will be held from May 13th - May 17th, 2024.

Objective

Upon completion of this training workshop, you will have acquired a useful skills of the network monitoring and management tools and the security benefits of the tools and techniques covered.


Who Should Attend?

This workshop is designed for engineers and system staff at ISPs and large networks, including academic networks who are involved with system management, network monitoring and management, incident response and security. This course is for those who need to manage Network operations and NOCs. Proper network instrumentation is a fundamental requirement for realizing infrastructure security at both the network and desktop level, and this course emphasizes the security benefits for the tools and the techniques covered.

Prerequisites

1. Laptop with a working wireless card 2. Functional knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments 3. Basic understanding of TCP/IP networks 4. Great attitude
